We are so excited to announce that the pre-orders for our upcoming book, "Fundamentals of Creating a Great UI/UX", are already available starting from this week. With this new project, we aim to provide reliable up-to-date information and best practices for web designers that are beginners or web developers who want to develop their skills and develop an eye for design, not just for code.
The Story Behind our Book
In 2014, Alexandru Paduraru and his team decided that it was time to create the development tools that would power businesses and individuals to create better-looking web projects worldwide. Later on, after 8 years of crafting the next generation's web design tools, UI Kits, Admin Dashboards, and Mobile App Templates, we decided to give back from our know-how. Elisa Paduraru, the Chief Design Officer at Creative Tim, started to write our first UI/UX Book Guide based on our accumulated experience.
Elisa started to write the book in 2020 during pandemic isolation and after long days of working combined with book writing, she finished the first draft during the Christmas holidays. The book had a set of feedback sessions coming from the team members, especially from Alex Paduraru (Creative Tim's co-founder). So at the beginning of this year, the writing process was finally done.
When we started talking about cover details with the talented designer Paul Virlan from Studio VRLN, we thought about our "evergreen content" and nature. The last one provides the perfect inspirational framework for people. When you think about nature, you see leaves, birds, trees, same as when you think about a website, and you imagine website elements, buttons, navbars, cards. The cover is also inspired by the Victorian design. The information we included in our book is complex, strong, and atemporal, the same as this style.

-
Part 6: Great Website Designs - The last part contains details about the evolution of some websites that respect the design rules, have elements that adapt their design according to the trend, and present a positive User Experience.
What is nice about our book is that it is not a theory book; we use the power of images and exemplification.
